Allround Production Operator

About the job

As an operator, you run and maintain production installations. You keep the production process running smoothly and make sure products meet quality standards. You work independently, spot deviations early, and keep your workplace safe, clean, and well organised.

What you'll do

• You operate and maintain production installations on your own and keep the process running at its best.
• You spot faults and deviations and carry out small repairs where possible.
• You check the production process regularly and keep machines and your workstation clean and tidy.
• You read production orders and translate them into the right machine settings, so production runs according to plan and specifications.
• You do visual checks on products and report any deviations to make sure quality stays on track.
• You handle internal transport of raw materials and products and operate a truck with a loader crane. A category C driving licence is not required.

What we ask

• Thinking and working level equivalent to MBO (Dutch secondary vocational education), preferably with a VAPRO A or B diploma (process operator qualification), or equivalent work experience.
• Technical understanding of processes; experience in a production environment is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, flexibility, and clear communication with colleagues.
• Ability to handle pressure, a proactive attitude, and a hands-on approach.
• Reliability, accuracy, and attention to quality and teamwork.
• Openness to new ideas and willingness to help improve the production process.
• Safety first: you work according to the applicable health and safety rules and actively contribute to a safe workplace.
