Logistics Team Leader

About the job

You share responsibility for running the logistics department. The team has 8 to 15 people: order pickers, reach truck operators and forklift operators. You work alongside the team every day, not just manage from the side. Full time, Monday to Friday, in Waddinxveen.

What you'll do

• You help run the morning team briefing and take it over when the manager is not there
• You do admin tasks: entering the previous day's orders into the system and making the work schedule
• You coordinate all logistics activities every day and solve problems quickly
• You motivate and involve the team
• You work actively on the floor and set an example for others
• You are responsible for the quality of the work in the department
• You spot problems and act on them

What we ask

• Good understanding of working with people and how logistics works
• Able to keep an overview and stay calm
• Able to work independently
• Knowledge of MS Office
• Willing to learn and a strong sense of responsibility
• Living near Gouda, Waddinxveen, Moordrecht, Rotterdam or Zoetermeer

What we offer

• Salary from €2800 to €2930 gross per month, depending on age and experience
• Comfortable hours: 08:00 to 17:00
• Monday to Friday
