Carpenter / Construction Joiner (Self-Employed)

About the job

As a self-employed carpenter (ZZP, a Dutch term for sole trader / freelancer registered in the Netherlands), you work on a range of construction projects in the east of the Netherlands. Your work is visible every day, to clients and residents alike.

You work for professional construction companies active in house building, industrial construction, renovation, and energy retrofits. Projects include new builds, refurbishments, maintenance, and restoration across the east of the Netherlands.

What you'll do

• Install and fit door frames, doors, and partition walls
• Carry out renovation and restoration work
• Assemble and finish timber structures
• Read and work from technical drawings
• Solve construction problems on site on your own
• Work in line with current safety and quality standards
• Keep the workplace clean, safe, and professional

What we ask

• Proven work experience as a carpenter or construction joiner
• Valid KvK number (your own business registered in the Netherlands)
• Own transport and own hand tools
• Able to work independently from technical drawings
• Aware of safety rules and committed to quality
• Reliable and able to meet agreed deadlines
