Experienced Paver

About the job

We are looking for an experienced paver to work in the Stadskanaal area. You will lay road and pavement surfaces on outdoor job sites.

What you'll do

• Laying paving stones, slabs and kerbs
• Preparing the base for surfaces (grading and compacting)
• Doing manual excavation work and levelling
• Reading technical drawings and working to the project plan
• Working together with machine operators and other workers on site
• Keeping your work area tidy and safe

What we ask

• At least 2 to 3 years of experience as a paver
• Knowledge of different paving techniques
• Ability to work with a spirit level and other measuring tools
• Category B driving licence
• VCA certificate (a Dutch safety certificate for construction and industrial work) is a plus
• Willingness to do physical outdoor work in different weather conditions

What we offer

• Pay from 16.50 to 20.50 euro gross per hour, depending on experience
• Steady assignments and stable employment
• Day shifts
