About the job

The client is an independent printing company with 135 employees. They specialise in high-quality consumer packaging for the international food industry, including tea, coffee, biscuits, sweets, and drinks. They produce flexible packaging in plastic and paper, using flexographic and gravure printing for the best quality results. You work a 3-shift rotation, Monday to Friday, 38 hours a week. Shifts start at 06:00, 14:00, and 22:00.

What you'll do

• Take responsibility for the full production process, from receiving the order to finished product
• Monitor and maintain print quality
• Operate and carry out maintenance on the printing machine
• Set up machines at different stages of the production process
• Follow the production schedule
• Make sure inks are the right quality and quantity
• Troubleshoot problems during production
• Keep your workstation clean

What we ask

• At least one year of experience as a flexographic printer
• Familiarity with printing machine software
• Ability to set up the machine independently and prepare the production process, including rollers and cylinders
• Good communication skills in English or Dutch
• A responsible, accurate, and disciplined way of working
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift rotation
• A valid driving licence
• Having your own car is a plus

What we offer

• Salary from €2,470 to €2,600 net per month based on 38 hours a week
• €570 to €600 net per week after deduction of accommodation, insurance, and taxes
• Hourly rate from €15.84 gross plus a 35% shift allowance, totalling €21.38 per hour
• Permanent position, 38 hours a week with the option to work overtime
