Truck Tyre Mechanic

About the job

In this role you work every day with different trucks and delivery vehicles. Your job is to make sure all vehicles are safe and running well.

What you'll do

• Mount, remove and balance tyres on trucks and heavy vehicles
• Check tyres for safety, wear and air pressure
• Carry out inspections and repairs using modern equipment
• Advise customers and explain tyre-related issues
• Keep the workshop clean and tidy
• Work together with colleagues in an experienced team

What we ask

• Interest in technology and vehicles
• Experience in truck tyre service, passenger car tyres and roadside assistance
• Category B driving licence
• Physical fitness to lift heavy objects
• Ability to travel to Rotterdam-Zuid independently

What we offer

• Gross salary from €3,200 to €4,500 per month, depending on experience, based on full-time hours
• 8% vakantiegeld (holiday allowance paid on top of your salary once a year)
• 25 days of holiday
• Travel cost reimbursement of €0.23 per km for distances over 10 km one way
• After a positive review, the possibility of a direct contract with the opdrachtgever (the end client company)
• Work at a stable employer with over 50 years of experience in the tyre and wheel industry
