About the job
You work as a pipe fitter in the process, petrochemical or construction industry in the Netherlands. You assemble and connect pipe systems according to technical drawings and safety requirements.
What you'll do
- Assemble and install pipework made of steel, copper or other materials
- Read and interpret technical and isometric drawings
- Cut, bend and fit pipes to the required dimensions
- Connect pipes by welding, threading, flanging or pressing
- Check connections for leaks and quality
- Work together with other trades on a construction site or in an industrial plant
- Follow health and safety rules and the procedures that apply on site
What we ask
- Experience as a pipe fitter, at least 1 to 2 years
- Ability to read technical and isometric drawings
- VCA certificate (a Dutch safety certificate for working on industrial sites), preferred or required on many sites
- Knowledge of different pipe joining techniques
- Category B driving licence
- Willing to work on location or at industrial sites
What we offer
- Hourly rate from EUR 14.99 to EUR 23.50 gross, depending on experience and qualifications
- Employment on the basis of a contract
- Work in the Netherlands
