Process Operator in Feed Production

About the job

For a client in Almelo, we are looking for a process operator to work at an animal feed production plant. You work in a three-shift rotation. Your main workplace is the central control room.

What you'll do

• Monitor and control the production process from the central control room
• Check incoming raw materials and direct them to the right silos and installations
• Operate and monitor the mill, mixing unit and press, where raw materials are ground, mixed and processed into feed pellets
• Control bulk loading and make sure the right end product is loaded
• Do inspection rounds, check process values and fix first-level faults in the installations

What we ask

• MBO-level thinking and education, preferably in a technical or process technology field (MBO is Dutch vocational education, roughly equivalent to a technical college diploma)
• Experience as an operator in a production environment, or motivation to learn the trade
• Technical mindset and interest in automated production processes
• Ability to work independently, spot deviations and fix minor faults
• Willingness to work in a three-shift rotation

What we offer

• Gross monthly salary from €3,741 to €4,447, including a 25.3% shift allowance (toeslag), depending on education and experience
• Full-time 38 hours per week in a three-shift rotation
• 8% vakantiegeld (holiday pay, a statutory Dutch bonus paid once a year) and an extra year-end payment of 4%
