Metal Production Operator (Bench Operator)

About the job

You work on processing and finishing metal parts for a client that manufactures and repairs components for the aviation industry in Tilburg. You receive parts that are ready for processing and carry out precise manual and machine operations based on work instructions. Accuracy matters more than speed here, because mistakes can have serious consequences.

What you'll do

• Polishing and finishing metal parts
• Cleaning and preparing parts for further processing
• Carrying out precise manual operations
• Operating production and repair machines
• Working with EDM (electrical discharge machining) techniques
• Checking dimensions and quality
• Documenting completed work

What we ask

• Thinking and working level equivalent to MBO (Dutch vocational secondary education)
• Interest in technology or metalworking
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions
• Accurate and precise way of working
• Enough English to read and understand work instructions
• Willingness to work a 2-shift schedule
• Experience in metalworking, production or machining is a plus
• Knowledge of EDM, grinding or precision machining is a strong plus

What we offer

• Gross salary between €2,900 and €3,400 per month
• Shift allowance of 13.3% when working 2 shifts
