Food Production Operator

About the job

As an operator on the slicing and packing line, you make sure bread is processed, packed, and prepared for shipping correctly. You work together with one colleague to run the production line. Every 30 minutes you rotate tasks, so you get to know the whole production process.

What you'll do

• Operate the slicing line and production machines
• Check the quality of the bread and packaging
• Fill in production documents and logs
• Take packed products and place them in crates
• Clean and keep the production line tidy

You work a two-shift schedule. Shift times: 09:00-17:00 and 17:00-00:00/01:00.

What we ask

• At least 1 year of experience as a production worker, packer, or operator
• Available 4 to 5 days a week
• Willing to work alternating shifts and weekends
• Accurate and attentive to quality
• Able to react quickly when something is not right
• Flexible with scheduling needs

What we offer

• Salary up to €2,900 gross per month
• Shift allowances on top of the base salary
• Travel cost reimbursement of €0.23 per km from 10 km one way
• 25 days of holiday per year
• 8% vakantiegeld (holiday allowance, a mandatory extra payment of 8% of your gross salary)
• Individual budget of €300 per year to spend as you choose
• Long-term employment in a stable organisation
• Average working week of 38 hours
