Logistics worker

About the job

You work in a modern, air-conditioned logistics centre. You receive goods, pick orders and carry out final checks on products. You make sure medicines reach customers reliably and on time.

You work a 2-shift schedule

Morning shift: 06:00 - 14:30

Afternoon shift: 14:30 - 23:00

Once every four weeks you also work a morning shift in the weekend.

What you'll do

• Receive and check incoming goods
• Pick orders and prepare medicines for shipment
• Carry out final inspections
• Work together with colleagues from different departments
• Follow strict procedures and quality standards

What we ask

• Thinking and working level of at least VMBO (Dutch lower vocational secondary education)
• Some experience in logistics, or a willingness to learn
• Available for 2-shift work, including occasional weekends
• Knowledge of German, English or Dutch
• Accurate and attentive to detail
• A team player
• Basic computer skills are a plus

What we offer

• Salary from €2,400 to €2,600 gross per month, depending on experience and length of service
• Direct contract with the opdrachtgever (client company), full-time or part-time possible
• 20% shift allowance for hours worked after 20:00
• 100% Sunday allowance
• Weekend work is compensated with extra days off
• Travel costs reimbursed at €0.19 per kilometre, or use of a shuttle bus from Heerlen, Hoensbroek and Brunssum
