Logistics worker / warehouse operative

About the job

As a logistics worker, you support the smooth running of logistics processes at a distribution centre in Nijverdal. The client is a large national organisation that supplies building materials to professional customers. Every day, a wide range of materials is picked, processed and shipped from this centre to customers and branches. You work both indoors and outdoors, in a hands-on environment where safety, accuracy and teamwork matter.

What you'll do

• Pick building materials and prepare them for shipment
• Load and unload trucks efficiently using a forklift and/or reach truck
• Check incoming goods and place them in the correct location
• Keep the workplace safe, clean and tidy
• Work with colleagues to make sure all orders are ready on time

What we ask

• Thinking and working level of MBO 3 (Dutch vocational education, level 3), preferably in a logistics direction
• Willingness to learn forklift and/or reach truck operation, or existing experience with it
• Accuracy and a constant focus on safety
• Ability to work independently and willingness to help colleagues when needed

What we offer

• Gross salary of €2,800 per month at full-time, depending on knowledge and experience
• Full-time position with the prospect of a permanent contract
• Working hours of 32 to 40 hours per week, depending on your preference
• 37 days off per year at full-time (25 holiday days and 12 ATV days, which are extra days off earned by working full-time hours)
• Opportunities for further development through training and courses
• Travel cost reimbursement from 10 up to a maximum of 25 kilometres one way
• Employment conditions equal to those of staff employed directly by the client, including hourly rate, number of days off, allowances, ADV pay (compensation for extra hours worked) and other pay components
