About the job

Warehouse worker needed for handling international air cargo at Schiphol-Rijk. You work with a team to make sure goods are processed efficiently, safely and on time.

What you'll do

• Check shipments for completeness and damage
• Load and unload goods
• Move and store goods in the right locations
• Operate a forklift
• Enter logistical data according to set procedures
• Keep the workplace safe, clean and tidy

You work in a three-shift rotation, including weekends

• 06:30 to 14:30
• 14:30 to 22:30
• 22:30 to 06:30

Part-time work is possible. The schedule is set weekly based on your availability.

What we ask

• At least 1 year of experience in logistics
• Thinking and working level of vmbo (lower secondary vocational education)
• Good command of Dutch and/or English
• Good physical fitness and willingness to do warehouse work
• Willingness to obtain an air cargo certificate (luchtvrachtcertificaat)
• Ability to obtain a Verklaring van Geen Bezwaar (VGB), a security clearance required in the air cargo sector
• Continuous registration within the European Union for the past 8 years
• Accurate, reliable and able to work in a team

Note on the VGB: the screening process takes an average of 10 to 12 weeks. The application is handled entirely by the opdrachtgever (the client company).

What we offer

• Salary from €16.70 to €17.80 gross per hour (including a 2.5% annual bonus)
• Irregular hours allowance of 125% to 140%
