Assembly Worker

About the job

As an assembly worker you join the assembly department of about 15 people. Together you build high-quality trailers for customers around the world. You use technical drawings, work instructions and various tools to assemble different parts at different workstations.

What you'll do

• Preparing axles: putting together axles and related components for assembly
• Assembling mechanical parts: attaching and connecting different parts of the trailer
• Preparing electrical installations: laying and routing cables for connection
• Assembling pipe systems: fitting and connecting pipes and related components
• Preparing wooden floors: preparing and fitting floor parts
• Quality control: checking components and running tests according to required standards

You work on different parts of the trailer throughout the whole assembly process, so the work stays varied. Together with your colleagues you contribute to building a complete, ready-to-use product.

What we ask

• A technical background or experience, for example as a car mechanic, maintenance technician or assembly worker, or hands-on experience working with tools
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings or work instructions
• Good command of English; Dutch is a plus
• A practical, precise and reliable way of working
• Own accommodation in the Netherlands
• Able to work in a team and willing to learn new skills
• Physically fit for assembly work

What we offer

• Full-time position at a leading manufacturing company in the Netherlands
• Fixed day shift with the prospect of a permanent contract
• Gross salary of €3,100 to €3,300 per month based on a 40-hour week
• 25 holiday days plus 13 ADV days (scheduled days off as part of the collective labour agreement), 38 days off in total per year
• Vakantiegeld (holiday allowance) of 8%
