Groundworker

About the job

We work in the provinces of Groningen, Friesland and Drenthe. The client is looking for workers for groundwork on infrastructure projects, underground networks and road construction.

What you'll do

• Digging by hand and with machinery
• Laying pipes, cables and other underground installations
• Backfilling and compacting soil
• Working on roads and pavements
• Using hand tools and small construction equipment
• Keeping the site clean and safe
• Working together with machine operators and the foreman

What we ask

• Experience in groundwork or construction
• VCA certificate (a Dutch safety certificate for construction workers), or willingness to get one
• Good physical condition
• Willing to work outdoors in different weather conditions
• Category B driving licence is a plus
• Communicative level of English or Dutch
