Car Lift Service Technician

About the job

As a car lift service technician, you keep workshops and garages in the Amersfoort region running smoothly. You work independently, plan your own day, and drive a fully equipped service van. You combine technical knowledge with a practical, customer-friendly approach. No two days are the same: you handle routine maintenance, safety inspections, and breakdowns.

What you'll do

• Carry out scheduled maintenance and safety inspections on car lifts and other workshop equipment
• Diagnose and fix mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
• Advise customers on maintenance, safety, and possible equipment improvements
• Process work orders and service reports digitally after each visit
• Consult with colleagues and technical specialists on more complex problems

What we ask

• A technical background or thinking level equivalent to MBO-3 (Dutch vocational education, intermediate level)
• Experience in a technical role
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems, or willingness to learn
• Category B driving licence and residence in the Amersfoort region
• A hands-on attitude and a sense of responsibility

What we offer

• Salary from €3,479 to €4,153 gross per month
• A one-year contract from day one, with the prospect of permanent employment
• Full time, 40 hours per week
• 27 holiday days and 13 ATV days (ATV is paid time off used to reduce working hours, common in Dutch employment)
