MIG/MAG and TIG Welder

About the job

The client is a company based in Groningen. They specialise in mechanical maintenance of installations and piping systems in steel, stainless steel and thermoplastics. They work in the industrial sector and carry out projects in maintenance, mechanical processing, machine building and planned shutdowns.

What you'll do

• Weld steel structures and metal products
• Work with MIG/MAG and TIG welding methods
• Read and interpret technical drawings
• Check dimensions and quality of finished work
• Process, finish and assemble parts
• Work together with colleagues in production and construction
• Suggest improvements to the production process

What we ask

• Experience as a welder or structural welder/fitter
• Ability to weld using MIG/MAG and TIG
• Recognised welding qualifications
• Ability to read technical drawings
• VCA certificate (Dutch safety certificate for contractors) or willingness to obtain one

What we offer

• Salary from €3,000 to €5,000 gross per month, depending on experience
