MIG/MAG TIG Welder

About the job

Are you an experienced welder and do you care about precision? The client in Venlo has been making high-quality precision components for the semiconductor, medical and high-tech industries for over 40 years. In this role you work independently on demanding projects where every detail matters.

What you'll do

• Welding with MIG/MAG and TIG techniques on thin stainless steel sheet, 1-3 mm thick
• Assembling parts and modules based on technical drawings and work instructions
• Checking the quality of your own welds and making sure the finish meets high quality standards
• Carrying out routine maintenance on welding equipment and keeping your workstation tidy
• Suggesting ideas to improve work processes and product quality

What we ask

• MBO-level (Dutch vocational secondary education) background and experience in a technical field
• Experience welding thin sheet metal with MIG/MAG and/or TIG
• Able to read and work from technical drawings and work instructions on your own
• Hands-on approach, solution-focused thinking and a sense of responsibility for your own work
• Eager to learn and open to new techniques and further professional development

What we offer

• Salary from 3,000 to 4,000 euro gross per month, depending on experience
• Permanent contract from day one
• 32 to 40 hours per week, to be agreed
