Pipeline Welder

About the job

A pipeline welder is needed for work on industrial installations and pipelines in the Groningen, Friesland and Drenthe regions. The work involves welding pipes in various processes and positions, following technical documentation and quality standards.

What you'll do

• Weld pipes and pipe connections using MIG/MAG, TIG or stick welding (MMA)
• Read and interpret technical drawings and installation diagrams
• Prepare parts for welding: cutting, grinding, fitting
• Check weld quality visually and according to documentation requirements
• Work according to health and safety rules and procedures
• Work together with pipe fitters and other welders on site or in a workshop

What we ask

• At least 2 years of experience as a pipeline welder
• A welding certificate (for example 6G or equivalent) is preferred or required
• Ability to read technical drawings
• VCA certificate (Dutch safety certificate for contractors) is an advantage
• Category B driving licence and own transport

What we offer

• Hourly rate from 15.50 to 18.50 euro gross, depending on experience and qualifications
• Full-time work
