TIG Welder

About the job

You work as a TIG welder at a family business. They make storage units and cargo spaces for vans, trucks, trailers and semi-trailers. They produce both standard and custom products. You join a technical team where everyone knows their trade.

You work day shifts. Start time is 07:00 or 08:00, finish time is 16:00 or 17:00. Weekends off.

What you'll do

• Read technical drawings and work orders
• Prepare and clean parts before welding
• Set welding machine parameters
• Weld different metals by hand: steel, stainless steel (RVS) and aluminium
• Check weld quality and spot any defects
• Maintain welding equipment and follow safety rules
• Work together with colleagues and report on progress
• Cut, bend and process sheet metal alongside welding work

What we ask

• You live in the Krimpenerwaard, Zuidplas, Rotterdam, Gouda, Capelle aan den IJssel area or nearby
• Experience as a TIG welder
• Interest in metalworking
• You are looking for a permanent job
• Available full-time and willing to work day shifts
• Good command of Dutch or English

What we offer

• Gross salary between €3,000 and €4,000 per month, depending on experience
• 13 ADV days (scheduled shorter working hours under Dutch labour rules) included in salary
• 25 vacation days and 8% vakantiegeld (holiday pay, a statutory Dutch bonus paid on top of your salary)
• Possibility of a permanent contract after 7 months
