TIG Welder (stainless steel)

About the job

As a TIG welder you work independently on high-quality stainless steel products. Using technical and 3D drawings, you produce pipe systems and components with great precision.

What you'll do

• TIG welding of stainless steel pipes and components
• Working from technical and 3D drawings
• Working with stainless steel pipes with diameters from 10 to 100 mm
• Working with wall thicknesses from 1 to 3 mm
• Purging (filling with shielding gas) pipe systems before welding
• Assembly and tack welding of pipe and box structures
• Keeping dimensions and alignment accurate
• Checking your own work and maintaining high quality standards
• Cutting pipe materials with a saw

What we ask

• TIG welding qualifications for stainless steel at level 3/4 (EN 287), or level 2 combined with relevant work experience
• Experience in TIG welding of stainless steel pipes and components
• Experience with purging stainless steel pipes
• Ability to read and interpret technical and 3D drawings
• Experience in assembly and tack welding of pipe and box structures
• Experience in cutting pipe materials with a saw is a plus
• Own accommodation and own transport
• For candidates who do not speak Dutch: Dutch, English, or German at B1 level or higher; Dutch is preferred

What we offer

• Gross monthly salary from €4,000 to €4,300 (including shift allowance)
• 2-shift rotation on a weekly basis
• Morning shift: 06:00-14:30
• Afternoon shift: 14:30-23:00
• Good prospects for a permanent contract with long-term stability
• Full time, 40 hours per week
• 25 days of leave and 8% vakantiegeld (holiday pay, a statutory annual bonus) per year
• Travel cost reimbursement of €0.25 per kilometre
