Multi-trade welder

About the job

We are looking for an experienced welder to work in the province of Drenthe. The work includes welding various metal structures in a production environment or on industrial projects.

What you'll do

• Weld steel, stainless steel and/or aluminium using MIG, MAG, TIG or other methods
• Read and interpret technical drawings and welding diagrams
• Prepare materials and parts for welding (cutting, grinding, bevelling)
• Check the quality of completed welds according to applicable standards
• Carry out repairs and modifications to existing metal structures
• Keep the workplace clean and safe
• Work together with other production staff and assemblers

What we ask

• Experience as a welder, preferably across multiple trades
• Knowledge of at least one welding method: MIG/MAG, TIG, or stick welding
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Welding certificate is a plus, for example EN ISO 9606
• VCA certificate (Dutch safety certificate for contractors) is an additional advantage
• Ability to work independently and with attention to detail
• Communicative level of English or Dutch
