Structural Metal Worker (ZZP/Freelance)

About the job

We are looking for experienced structural metal workers who work as ZZP (self-employed freelancers) for assignments at various clients in the Twente region. Assignments cover steel structures, machine building, and industry. They can be short-term or long-term.

What you'll do

• Assemble and build steel structures based on technical drawings
• Process, measure, tack-weld, and finish metal parts
• Work with different machines and tools
• Check dimensions and quality of structures
• Carry out assembly work when needed
• Work together with welders, fitters, and other technical specialists

What we ask

• Proven experience as a structural metal worker
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Able to work independently and attention to quality
• Own registered business with a KvK number (KvK is the Dutch Chamber of Commerce register, required for ZZP/self-employed work)
• Valid VCA certificate (VCA is a Dutch safety certificate for working on industrial sites), or willingness to obtain one
• Own tools and personal protective equipment
• Category B driving licence and own transport
• Flexible and willing to work at different locations in Twente
