Masonry Assistant / Facade Renovation

Looking for full-time physical work in Leeuwarden? As a masonry assistant, you work outside every day. You support experienced bricklayers and pointing workers on different projects. You earn good rates, paid weekly, and you learn a solid trade on the job.

What you'll do

• You prepare materials and bring bricks, mortar, and other supplies to the workers on site
• You help mix mortar and support various tasks on the building site
• You keep the work area and scaffolding tidy, clean up, and make sure the workplace is safe
• You make sure materials and tools are ready on time so work can keep moving

What we ask

• You like physical work and are not afraid of effort
• You work independently, you see what needs to be done, and you help colleagues where needed
• You have a VCA certificate (a Dutch safety certification for construction work) or you are willing to get one for free through the client
• Experience in construction is a plus, but a good attitude and motivation matter more

What we offer

• Pay from €15.98 to €20.02 gross per hour, depending on experience
• Travel cost reimbursement and good pension coverage in line with the CAO (collective labour agreement)
• 25 days of leave and 8.33% vakantiegeld (holiday allowance, a statutory annual bonus on top of your salary)
• Contract starting at 3 to 4 months, with a good chance of extension
• Opportunity to move up, for example to joint raker, pointing worker, or bricklayer
