TRI Operator Assistant

About the job

As a TRI Operator Assistant at Son, you work with a shift team to operate an industrial thermal cleaning installation. You make sure the process runs safely, smoothly and reliably. You monitor parameters and respond when something is off.

What you'll do

• Operate and monitor the thermal cleaning installation according to the procedures.
• Detect and fix technical faults. Contact the technical department when needed.
• Carry out process checks and visual inspections to spot problems early.
• Record process data and keep the operational log up to date.
• Follow health and safety rules and keep the workplace safe for yourself and your colleagues.
• Take part in improving the installation for reliability, efficiency and safety.
• Hand over your shift and inform the next team about anything important.

What we ask

• MBO (Dutch vocational qualification) level or equivalent, preferably in process technology, mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Interest in industrial process installations and technical operations.
• VAPRO B certificate or similar qualification is a plus.
• VCA VOL (Dutch safety certificate for operational staff) or willingness to obtain it.
• BHV certificate (Dutch first aid and emergency response qualification) or willingness to obtain it.
• Good command of English.
• Category B driving licence.
• Willing to work in shifts.
• Proactive attitude with attention to safety, quality and teamwork.

• Salary: gross monthly salary set individually based on knowledge and experience, in line with the Beroepsgoederenvervoer collective labour agreement (CAO, a sector-wide pay and conditions agreement) by TLN.
• Shift allowance for working in a shift schedule.
