Printing Machine Operator Assistant

About the job

You work at a print shop in Deventer. The company makes printed materials for customers across the Netherlands: business cards, posters, flyers, banners and other promotional items. You operate machines in production and finishing. You work a three-shift schedule and can learn new tasks over time.

What you'll do

• Operate production machines
• Prepare materials for printing
• Check the quality of printed products
• Cut and finish printed materials
• Fix minor machine problems
• Pack products
• Prepare orders for shipping
• Keep your workstation clean and tidy
• Work in three shifts:

Morning shift: 06:00 – 14:00

Afternoon shift: 14:00 – 22:00

Night shift: 22:00 – 06:00

What we ask

• No experience as a print operator needed
• Willing to work with machines
• Accurate and focused on quality
• Able to stand and walk for long periods
• Dutch or English language skills
• Able to pick up new tasks quickly
• Available for three-shift work

What we offer

• Up to €18,50 per hour, including shift allowance
• Full time: 37.5 hours per week
• Three-shift schedule
• Travel costs reimbursed at €0,23 per kilometre from 10 kilometres onwards
• 8% vakantiegeld (holiday pay, paid on top of your regular wage)
• Fixed-term contract with the possibility of a permanent position
• Same employment terms as workers hired directly by the client company
