Working Foreman Carpenter

About the job

The client is a small construction company in the province of Drenthe. They have been active since 2011 and employ around ten people. They build villas, do renovations and reconstructions, including passive houses. They are looking for an experienced carpenter who works on site and also coordinates the team.

What you'll do

• Work hands-on on the construction site
• Lead and organise the work of colleagues and subcontractors
• Keep track of the schedule and progress
• Make sure the site is tidy and safe
• Stay in contact with the site manager and the preparation team
• Handle admin tasks: log working hours and plan materials

What we ask

• Completed vocational training as a carpenter (MBO level 3, Dutch vocational qualification)
• At least 5 years of experience in construction, preferably across different types of projects (new build, existing buildings, commercial construction, concrete work)
• Knowledge of current building techniques and materials
• Able to work independently and take responsibility
• Category B driving licence (preferred)
• High standards when it comes to safety and quality
• Team player with a proactive attitude

What we offer

• €23.00 to €25.00 gross per hour, in line with the CAO Bouw & Infra (collective labour agreement for construction and infrastructure)
• Company car or travel allowance of €0.32 per km
• Pension from day one (BPF Bouw)
• Work clothes and tools, including power tools, provided by the employer

• Payment weekly or every four weeks
• A fixed contact person at the uitzendbureau (staffing agency)
