Assembly Team Leader

About the job

You work in the assembly of machines and equipment, and at the same time you lead a team. You combine hands-on work on the shop floor with coordinating daily tasks and keeping an eye on quality and safety.

What you'll do

• Plan and coordinate daily work in the assembly department
• Monitor progress, quality and safety in the production process
• Actively take part in assembling machines and installations
• Lead, train and motivate assemblers and apprentices
• Carry out quality checks and report any deviations
• Work together with other departments, including engineering and planning
• Make sure machines and tools are used correctly and maintained properly

What we ask

• Experience leading a team in a technical environment
• Practical technical skills in mechanical engineering or mechatronics
• Ability to keep an overview, set priorities and communicate clearly
