Prefabrication Carpenter

About the job

You work as a carpenter making and assembling prefabricated elements. You build wooden structures in a workshop or on a construction site, following technical drawings and specifications.

What you'll do

• Produce prefabricated wooden elements (walls, floors, roofs, frames)
• Read and interpret technical drawings and construction plans
• Cut, join and assemble wooden parts using machines and hand tools
• Check the quality of finished elements according to standards
• Assemble prefabricated parts on the construction site
• Work together with other workers and the team leader
• Keep your workplace tidy and safe

What we ask

• Experience as a carpenter, preferably in prefabrication or timber frame construction
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Knowledge of carpentry tools and machines
• VCA certificate (Dutch safety certificate for construction workers) is a plus
• Category B driving licence
• Accurate and able to work independently

What we offer

• Salary from 16.00 to 20.00 EUR gross per hour, depending on experience
• Employment contract or work through an uitzendbureau (staffing agency)
• Full time
• Work in a stable construction sector in the Netherlands
