Construction Carpenter – Maintenance and Repairs

About the job

You work as a carpenter on maintenance and repair jobs in homes and commercial buildings. Every day is different. You carry out various repairs on location, often in buildings where people are still living or working.

What you'll do

• Repair door frames, doors, floors, roofs and facades
• Assess the situation on site and work with the needs of the client in mind
• Work together with people from other trades, such as painters, plasterers and plumbers
• Handle materials and tools with care
• Report completed work to the site manager or project coordinator

What we ask

• Experience in construction carpentry or renovation work
• Ability to assess the scope of repairs yourself and work in different conditions
• Willingness to work at various locations, including occupied buildings
