Carpenter – housing maintenance and renovation

About the job

As a carpenter in housing maintenance and renovation (mutatieonderhoud, preparing rental homes for new tenants) you get homes ready for the next occupant. You work independently. You do carpentry, repair and finishing work in rental apartments and other residential properties. You take care of quality, deadlines and comfort for future residents.

What you'll do

• Carry out carpentry, repair and finishing work
• Fix problems with doors, frames, walls, ceilings and floors
• Assess the situation and find practical solutions
• Coordinate with residents, colleagues and the client
• Keep an eye on safety, planning, material use and quality on completion

What we ask

• At least 5 years of work experience as a carpenter, preferably in maintenance or renovation
• A completed vocational qualification (mbo) in carpentry, construction or a related field is a plus
• Able to read technical situations and act in a creative, solution-focused way
• Easy to adapt to different homes, residents and types of work
• Precise, client-oriented, focused on results and well-organised

• A working week of 32, 36 or 40 hours, depending on your preference and the scope of the role
• Salary between €3,000 and €4,000 per month, holiday arrangements and ADV (extra days off linked to full-time hours) to be discussed
