Electrical Maintenance and Renovation Engineer

About the job

You work as an electrician on maintenance and renovation projects. Your focus is on safe, comfortable and energy-efficient homes in Doetinchem and the east of the Netherlands. You take responsibility for your own tasks and work carefully in existing buildings, which are often occupied.

What you'll do

• Replace and upgrade distribution boards and electrical installations
• Install and connect kitchen circuit groups and other electrical equipment
• Carry out renovation, maintenance and modernisation work
• Plan your own work and coordinate on time with colleagues from the construction and installation teams
• Communicate clearly and politely with residents and finish every job neatly
• Make decisions when needed, keep an eye on quality and solve practical problems

What we ask

• MBO level 3 (Dutch vocational qualification) in electrical engineering, or proven relevant work experience
• 5 to 10 years of experience in electrical engineering
• Experience with existing residential buildings, distribution boards, kitchen circuit groups and renovation work
• Category B driving licence and ability to travel to projects independently
• Accurate, quality-focused way of working with attention to safety
• Able to organise your own work, work well with others and take initiative when needed
• You must already live in the Netherlands and have the right to work here. The client (opdrachtgever) does not provide a work permit or visa sponsorship

What we offer

• Gross monthly salary of €3,500 to €4,500 based on 40 hours per week
• Prospect of a permanent contract after one year
• 48 days of leave per year, of which 18 days you can take or have paid out
• Company van with professional Makita tools, work clothing, safety boots and personal protective equipment

• Work mostly close to home, on projects in the east of the Netherlands
