Junior Electrician

About the job

As a junior electrician in training, you get a solid start in electrical work. You combine work with study, work on different projects, from housing to public buildings, and you learn from experienced professionals.

What you'll do

• Take part in a 5-day bootcamp: learn and practice basic electrical skills with an experienced instructor.
• Gain hands-on experience: after the bootcamp, work with one of our clients on real projects in housing, public buildings or industry.
• Follow a BBL course (a Dutch work-and-study programme): combine work and school through the Combi programme and build your technical knowledge.
• Get safety certificates: earn your VCA (Dutch safety certificate for contractors) and NEN-3140 for free, so you can work safely and professionally.
• Work with experienced colleagues: work side by side every day with a team that supports your development.

What we ask

• Available from 28 September.
• Good command of Dutch.
• Category B driving licence and your own transport.
• VCA certificate, or willing to get one.
• Willing to follow a BBL course in electrical engineering.

What we offer

• Salary from €2,400 to €3,800 gross per month, depending on experience.
• Permanent contract from the start of the BBL course.
• Working week of 32 to 40 hours, based on your preference.
• VCA and NEN-3140 VOP certificates at no cost to you.
• Fully funded BBL course in electrical engineering, including pay on school days.
• Work clothing, safety shoes and tools provided.
