Allround Electromechanical Technician / Machine Maintenance

About the job

You keep production machines running and fix faults quickly. You work at a modern food production facility near Nieuw-Vennep. Your work directly affects how smoothly and safely the whole production process runs.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and fix faults in machines and installations, both electrical and mechanical
• Carry out preventive maintenance and repairs to avoid unplanned downtime
• Take part in improvement projects and implement lasting solutions for the machine park
• Support the installation and start-up of new machines
• Make sure installations are safe, correctly adjusted and reliable
• Take on-call duty (consignment standby) one week in every four (Monday 23:00 to Monday 06:00), with extra pay

What we ask

• Technical education at MTS/MBO level (Dutch secondary vocational qualifications) in electrical engineering or a related field, or at least 3 years of relevant work experience
• Solid knowledge of electrical engineering, measuring and weighing equipment, electrical systems and mechanical maintenance
• Mechanical skills; TIG welding experience is a plus
• Experience in a production environment, preferably in the food industry
• Good command of Dutch and English
• Flexible, organised and focused on solving problems
• Living within 30 minutes of Nieuw-Vennep; own transport required

What we offer

• Salary from €3,500 to €4,500 gross per month (excluding allowances), depending on knowledge and experience
• Full time, 40 hours per week, in a two-shift rotation: 06:00-15:00 and 14:00-23:00
• On-call standby duty once every four weeks (Monday 23:00 to Monday 06:00) with separate pay
• Work in a modern, international production environment
