Electrical installer

About the job

You work on different electrical installations in existing and new buildings. The technical work varies, so each day is different. You read technical drawings, carry out installation work, and make sure everything is handed over safely, neatly, and according to the standards. You work independently, but stay in regular contact with colleagues on projects.

What you'll do

• Laying cable trays, conduits, and wiring
• Installing and expanding distribution boards and electrical circuits
• Fitting connection parts: sockets, light points, and switches
• Diagnosing and fixing faults in electrical installations
• Working from technical drawings and diagrams
• Carrying out renovation, new build, and maintenance work

What we ask

• At least MBO level 2 (Dutch vocational qualification) in electrical engineering
• Knowledge of electrical installations and safety regulations
• Able to work independently and switch between different projects
• VCA certificate (Dutch safety certificate for working on construction and industrial sites) or willing to get one
• Category B driving licence

• Salary from €2,600 to €3,800 gross per month, depending on experience
• 25 holiday days and 13 ADV days (reduced working hours days) or extra pay instead
