Electrical Technician

About the job

For a client in Wijchen, we are looking for an electrical technician for the technical department. You work day shifts on maintenance and industrial automation, including PLC systems.

What you'll do

• Carry out maintenance and repair work on electrical installations
• Diagnose and fix faults on production machines and equipment
• Program, operate and troubleshoot PLC systems
• Install new electrical equipment and automation systems
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams
• Work with other technical departments on upgrade projects
• Document completed work and keep technical records

What we ask

• Technical background in electrical engineering (MBO level 3 or 4, or equivalent)
• Experience as an electrical technician, preferably in an industrial setting
• Knowledge of PLC systems (such as Siemens or Allen-Bradley)
• Ability to read electrical diagrams
• VCA certificate (Dutch safety certificate for contractors) is a plus
• Able to work independently and solve technical problems

What we offer

• Salary from €3,000 to €4,200 gross per month, depending on experience
• Day shifts, Monday to Friday
• Stable employment at a production company in Wijchen
