Electrical Technician / Process Automation Technician

About the job

In this role in Zeewolde, you keep automated production machines running smoothly. You find and fix electrical faults, carry out inspections, and work with PLC controllers such as Siemens S7 and TIA Portal. You work together with the technical team to keep the production process running without interruptions.

What you'll do

• Find and fix electrical faults and control system problems
• Read and analyse Siemens S7 and TIA Portal PLC systems
• Check and replace sensors, motors, and electrical components
• Carry out preventive maintenance on production installations
• Join discussions about technical improvements and preventing breakdowns

What we ask

• MBO-level education (Dutch vocational qualification, roughly equivalent to a technical college diploma) in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field
• Experience as an electrical technician, service technician, or maintenance technician in an industrial setting
• Knowledge of PLC controllers, Siemens S7 or TIA Portal preferred
• Basic knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics
• Available to work a 2-shift schedule

What we offer

• Salary from €4,000 to €5,500 gross per month, including shift allowance
• Full-time, 40 hours per week on a 2-shift schedule
• 27 holiday days and 7 collective ADV days (ADV: scheduled extra days off as part of a shorter working week arrangement)
• Fixed-term contract with the prospect of permanent employment
• Training and courses in PLC, electrical engineering, and industrial automation
