Electrician / Electrical Installer (1st Fitter)

About the job

We are looking for an experienced electrical installer for a client in Rotterdam. This is an independent technical role with a wide range of installation and service tasks.

What you'll do

• Install and connect electrical systems in industrial and public buildings
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical documentation
• Lay cable routes, install distribution boards and electrical panels
• Connect motors, frequency inverters and other electrical equipment
• Carry out measurements and tests according to NEN standards
• Find and fix electrical faults
• Work together with other specialists on site
• Follow health and safety rules on the work site

What we ask

• Technical education in electrical engineering (MBO level 3 or 4)
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience as an electrical installer
• VCA certificate (a Dutch safety certification for working on construction and industrial sites) is a plus
• Ability to read electrical diagrams
• Knowledge of NEN 1010 standards
• Category B driving licence
• Able to work independently and accurately

• Salary from 17.50 to 22.50 EUR gross per hour, depending on experience
