About the job
You work in the CNC department with three colleagues. You set up machines on your own, change them over, and take part in planning the best approach for each product.
What you'll do
- Setting up, operating and changing over CNC milling machines
- Machining, finishing and packing products
- Programming in Tebis, CAD/CAM (if you can't do this yet, colleagues will help you)
- Recording production, hours and deviations in the VBS system
- Carrying out quality measurements and visual checks
- Helping colleagues while your machine is running
- Taking part in improving production, for example new milling strategies and automation
What we ask
- MBO+ level of thinking and education (preferred: metal cutting, structural engineering or engineering)
- Ability to measure accurately (calliper) and carry out visual checks
- Forklift certificate and VCA (a Dutch safety certificate for working on industrial sites), or willingness to obtain them
- Experience with Tebis or other CAD/CAM software is a plus
- Willingness to work a 2-shift system (hours: 06:00-14:30 / 14:30-23:00)
- Willingness to take on emergency standby duty in the future (once every 4 weeks), once you reach the right level
We offer
- Salary from €3,000 to €4,000 gross per month
- 15.5% shift allowance on top of your full salary
- 8% vakantiegeld (holiday pay, a statutory Dutch bonus paid once a year on top of your salary)
