Yacht Installer

About the job

You work on building high-end sailing yachts. You install and connect all the technical systems on board. You make sure every part works correctly. You work from technical drawings and have a lot of independence. If you need help, an experienced supervisor is there for you.

What you'll do

• Install technical parts such as tanks, toilets and complete water systems
• Connect distribution panels, cable harnesses and 12V/24V DC systems
• Install and connect diesel engines and electric drive systems
• Work with modern professional equipment
• Keep your workspace safe, clean and organised
• Support with various tasks in the workshop

What we ask

• Experience as an installer or electrician, preferably in the yacht or shipbuilding industry
• You work independently, take responsibility and think ahead
• Technical knowledge and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• VCA certificate (safety certificate required in the Netherlands) or willingness to obtain it
• NEN 3140 certificate (Dutch standard for working safely with electricity) or willingness to obtain it
• Category B driving licence

What we offer

• Salary from €2,900 to €3,950 gross per month, depending on experience and education
• 25 holiday days plus 13 ADV days (extra days off under the Dutch collective working hours scheme) or equivalent extra pay
• Holiday allowance of 8% (vakantiegeld, a standard Dutch bonus paid on top of your salary)
