Sideloader Driver
About the job
As a sideloader driver, you are an important part of the logistics process. You make sure materials are in the right place, trucks are loaded correctly, and the warehouse stays organised. You work with a sideloader (a forklift that carries loads to the side, used for long materials and racks) and move racks, long materials, and other goods. Precise manoeuvring and good spatial awareness are important.
What you'll do
- Load and unload trucks and trailers
- Move racks, long materials, and goods with the sideloader
- Remove and return empty racks to free up storage space
- Support order picking and other logistics tasks
- Flag opportunities to improve warehouse layout and goods flow
You work mostly on your own and are responsible for doing your tasks safely and efficiently. When needed, you help colleagues and you don't mind setting aside the sideloader occasionally to do other warehouse work.
What we ask
- Experience as a sideloader driver, forklift driver, or in a similar logistics role
- Good manoeuvring skills and spatial awareness
- Knowledge of logistics and the ability to store materials in a clear and organised way
- Willingness to do order picking and other warehouse tasks
- Available for 40 hours per week
Experience with a sideloader or loading and unloading long materials is a plus, but not required. If you have a lot of forklift experience, handle large equipment well, and learn quickly, we also welcome your application.
What we offer
- Gross monthly salary of €2,600 to €2,900 based on 40 hours, depending on experience
- A varied role with a lot of independence
- Work with modern logistics equipment
- An informal atmosphere where colleagues help each other
- A position in a growing organisation that takes its logistics process seriously
- Employment conditions equal to those of workers hired directly by the opdrachtgever (the client company), including days off, allowances, ADV pay (extra time-off compensation based on hours worked), and other salary components
