Order Picker – Logistics

About the job

As an order picker at the distribution centre in Bleiswijk, you make sure shop shelves stay stocked and orders go out on time. You work in a modern warehouse, on a two-shift schedule, with the option of long-term employment and growth in logistics.

What you'll do

• Pick orders using a voice-picking system and an electric pallet truck (EPT)
• Work in different temperature zones: refrigerated, frozen, and ambient
• Check orders for completeness and accuracy before they ship
• Keep your work area clean and safe
• Work with your team to hit daily targets
• Report problems and issues to your supervisor
• Follow all safety and warehouse procedures

What we ask

• EU citizenship or a valid Dutch work permit
• Enough English to communicate on the floor
• Willing to work a two-shift schedule: day shift (06:00-14:00) and night shift (20:00-04:00)
• Good physical condition and comfortable being on your feet and active
• Willing to do both light and heavier warehouse tasks
• Reliable, responsible, and punctual
• Able to work well in a fast-paced team
• Looking for stable, long-term employment
• Keen to learn and grow in logistics

What we offer

• Starting rate: €16.20 gross per hour, including a €1.21 ADV allowance (a standard Dutch reduction-of-working-hours supplement)
• Evening allowance (20:00-22:00): 25% extra, so €17.99 per hour
• Night allowance (22:00-06:00): 50% extra, so €22.49 per hour
• Overtime allowance (above 40 hours per week): 35% extra, so €20.24 per hour
• Saturday allowance: 30% extra, so €19.49 per hour
• Sunday allowance: 50% extra, so €22.49 per hour
• Public holiday allowance: 100% extra, so €29.98 per hour
