Warehouse worker

About the job

As a logistics worker at UPS in Roermond, you are an important part of the logistics process. Every day, electronic products are processed, checked and shipped. Together with your colleagues, you make sure everything is done accurately and on time.

UPS has several departments and shifts. Depending on your department, you work from 08:00 to 17:00, in a two-shift system from 06:00 to 15:00 and from 10:30 to 19:30, or on a schedule from 08:00 to 17:00 and from 12:00 to 21:00.

What you'll do

• Pick orders using a handheld scanner
• Process and check electronic products
• Pack products and prepare them for shipping
• Scan goods and enter data into the system
• Check products for quality and quantity
• Move goods within the warehouse
• Load and unload goods
• Work according to safety rules and quality standards

If you have experience with an EPT truck (electric pallet truck) or forklift and hold a valid certificate, there are opportunities at UPS to use those skills.

What we ask

• Available 40 hours per week
• Good command of English
• Available for at least one of the shifts listed above
• Accurate and careful in your work
• Good physical condition for logistics work
• Experience in logistics is a plus
• Experience with an EPT truck or forklift is a plus
• Own transport is a plus
