Warehouse Worker (Freezer)

About the job

Are you looking for a job as a warehouse worker at a company that sells organic food and natural products? The client is a wholesaler of organic food, natural drugstore products, and ecological goods. They supply organic shops and the foodservice sector, mainly in the Benelux market.

What you'll do

• Picking orders
• Sorting and organising products
• Checking product quality
• Keeping the workplace clean and safe

You work in a freezer at -20°C. The client provides warm workwear and extra breaks so you can work comfortably.

Working hours: between 06:00 and 23:00.

What we ask

• English or Dutch at B1 level or higher
• Able to work in a cold environment
• Accurate and a good team player
• Experience in logistics
• Experience with an EPT (electric pallet truck) and/or reach truck

What we offer

• Hourly rate: €14.99 gross per hour (for ages 21 and up)
• Cold work allowance: €2.60 per hour
• 8% vakantiegeld (holiday pay, paid on top of your gross wage)
• Possibility of a permanent contract
• Warm workwear and safety shoes provided by the employer
• Shift allowances:
• 40% extra from Monday to Friday between 00:00 and 06:00, and Sunday to Friday between 23:00 and 00:00
• 25% extra from Monday to Friday between 19:00 and 23:00, and on Saturdays between 15:00 and 23:00
• 50% extra on Saturdays and Sundays between 23:00 and 00:00
• 100% extra on official public holidays
• Option to work together with someone you know (arrange this in advance; they can live at a different address and work in different shifts or departments)
