Warehouse Worker / Order Picker

About the job

Warehouse worker on-call in Houten. The client supplies medical food products to people who depend on them. Your work in the warehouse has a direct impact on the health and wellbeing of those customers. The team has around 30 people and the atmosphere is good.

What you'll do

• Pick and prepare orders for shipping
• Check stock levels and report when supplies need to be topped up
• Report damage or irregularities to the team leader

What we ask

• Available at least 3 days a week
• Available for at least half a year
• Able to do physical work: a lot of walking and standing throughout the shift
• Accurate, careful, and quick to learn
• Reliable: if you are on the schedule, people can count on you
• Experience is a plus, but motivation and commitment matter more

What we offer

• Hourly rate based on age:

16/17 years: €11.99

18 years: €12.74

19 years: €13.49

20 years: €14.24

21 years and older: €14.99

• On-call work, Monday to Friday, hours 9:30-18:00
• You submit your own availability, flexible schedule
• Half an hour of break per shift is paid
• Vakantiegeld (holiday allowance, a mandatory extra payment of around 8% of your wages) and holiday days are built up
• Travel costs reimbursed: €0.25 per kilometre, including by bicycle
• Choice of weekly or four-weekly pay
• Contract extensions possible, with a chance of a permanent contract if you perform well
