About the job

The client is a specialist in high-end machine building. They are looking for someone to manually engrave, machine and finish precision metal parts. The work requires accuracy, patience and attention to every detail.

What you'll do

• Manually engrave, machine and finish precision metal parts
• Work with specialist tools, measuring instruments and microscopes
• Read and interpret technical drawings
• Carry out accurate quality checks
• Check dimensions, finish and product specifications

What we ask

• MBO level of thinking or education (MBO is Dutch secondary vocational education)
• A background or experience as a watchmaker, goldsmith, engraver, jeweller, fijnmechanica technician (precision mechanics) or similar is a strong advantage
• Interest in precision mechanics, precision machining and manual craftsmanship
• A steady hand, an eye for detail and a precise approach to work
• Ability to concentrate for long periods
• A technical mindset and a willingness to learn new techniques
• Good command of Dutch and/or English

What we offer

• Salary from €3,200 to €4,300 gross per month, depending on knowledge and experience
• 25 holiday days and 13 ADV days (ADV is a Dutch scheme for reduced working hours, giving you extra days off)
• Employment conditions in line with the CAO Metaal en Techniek (CAO is a Dutch collective labour agreement that sets pay and conditions for a sector)
