About the job
You work at a family business with over 60 years of experience. They provide full services for passenger cars, trucks, and agricultural machinery. The company operates from 12 locations and specialises in tyres and servicing all vehicle brands.
What you'll do
- Carry out APK (Dutch mandatory vehicle inspection) checks
- Diagnose and repair passenger cars and trucks
- Keep the quality and safety of your work at a high level
- Pick up assigned tasks independently and proactively
- Think along with customers and suggest solutions
What we ask
- MBO-level education or work experience as a car mechanic or APK mechanic (MBO is a Dutch vocational qualification, roughly equivalent to a trade certificate)
- APK certification, or willingness to obtain it through the employer
- Accuracy and attention to quality and safety
- The ability to work independently, show initiative, and take responsibility for your results
- An attitude of continuous learning
What we offer
- Salary from €2,900 to €3,900 gross per month based on full-time hours
- Vakantiegeld (Dutch statutory holiday allowance, 8% of annual salary)
- Travel cost reimbursement of €0.25 per kilometre, from 5 km
