Workshop Mechanic

About the job

You work as a workshop mechanic at a specialist in ground dewatering and groundwater management, with over 75 years of experience. The company carries out projects across the Netherlands, including tunnel construction, dewatering of building excavations, and long-term water management. Your work keeps the equipment ready to use at all times.

What you'll do

• Carrying out inspections and maintenance on pumps, machines, vehicles, and tools
• Finding and fixing technical faults
• Replacing and repairing parts
• Checking that machines work correctly and safely
• Keeping the workshop tidy, safe, and organised
• Helping with breakdowns on project sites when needed

What we ask

• A technical education or hands-on experience working with machines and equipment
• Experience in maintaining and repairing machines or vehicles
• Able to work on your own as well as in a team
