Maintenance Mechanic

About the job

As a maintenance mechanic you work a 2-shift schedule. You are responsible for the reliability and quality of the production machines.

What you'll do

• Analyse and fix technical faults on machines
• Develop preventive and corrective maintenance plans
• Improve installations and prevent downtime in production processes
• Support the installation, start-up and operation of new equipment
• Order and manage spare parts, tools and other supplies
• Respond quickly to breakdowns and emergencies, and act as the contact point for production staff

What we ask

• Good command of English
• Experience as a maintenance mechanic, service mechanic or in a similar role
• Completed technical education at MBO level 4 (Dutch vocational qualification, roughly equivalent to a technical college diploma)
• Willingness to work a 2-shift schedule
• You work independently, take initiative and want to keep learning

What we offer

• Gross salary between €3,200 and €4,000 per month, depending on experience (including shift allowance)
• Shift allowance of 21% for shift work
• Travel cost reimbursement of €0.19 per kilometre
• 20 days of annual leave and 8.33% vakantiegeld (holiday pay, a statutory Dutch supplement paid on top of your salary)
