About the job
As a construction machinery mechanic, no two days are the same. One day you inspect a truck, the next you trace a fault in a machine or work on a mobile crane.
What you'll do
- Maintain and repair machines
- Work on mobile cranes and other heavy equipment
- Inspect and repair trucks
- Maintain company vans
- Find and fix technical faults
- Replace and repair parts
- Check that equipment is safe and working properly after repair
What we ask
- Experience as a mechanic is required
- A technical background, for example in automotive engineering
- Basic knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics and electrical systems
- Ability to diagnose and fix technical faults
- Category B driving licence (BE, T and C are a plus, but not required)
- VCA certificate (a Dutch safety certificate for working on construction sites) or willingness to get one
- Willing to work with different types of equipment
- Able to work independently, both at the base and at customer sites
What we offer
- Salary from €2,850 to €3,500 gross per month based on 40 hours per week
- Pension from day one
- Travel reimbursement: €0.23 per kilometre
